The E-Newsletter is a email blast that is sent out once per week to those who subscribe, giving a devotional and including church activity and ministry updates. The E-Newsletter team is always looking for people to serve in the areas of assistant editor, reporter, designers and reviewers.
Assistant Editor: Qualifications include writing and grammar skills, some project organizational ability. Responsibilities include editing the newsletter, input of articles, gather images, lay out, manage the review su bs equ ent ed i t ing , d is t r ib u t ion.
Reporter(s): Qualifications include writing and grammar skill; good personal skills. Responsibilities include interface and regular contacting ministries for new, success stories, etc. Create articles from the interviews and provide data for the newsletter (births, etc.), schedule changes, etc.
Web tech: This is a person who has enough HTML knowledge, web talent and time to customize a new, simpler, easier to read and printable layout for our newsletter, using one of the available CC templates.
Reviewer(s): Review first drafts of the newsletter to ferret out grammar, spelling and contextual errors. Probably takes fifteen minutes to a half an hour per week. The more eyes, the better.
Where & When
Virtually all of the work the ministry does is on-line, so those who may be interested in doing any of the above need to have access to a PC or Mac and the internet.
